ms mees goes to babies r us

oh yes. an interesting time was had by all. kei and i tuckered down and finally made it to babies r us so that we could register for baby staples. needless to say our favorite part of it was the scanner gun.

a costco size store full of baby stuff is overwhelming. you got your cradles, your changing tables, your cribs, your bassinets, your ottomans. and ten million types of strollers. are you a jogger? a 'mall mom'? an 'urban mom'? don't forget the onesies - side snaps and pullovers.

i even had to learn new terminology for this outing. i had no idea what a 'layette'' was before this whole operation. can you imagine.

next stop: the OC baby shower. should be fun. hopefully the OC will also be full of xmas mcrib magic
