my mom, aunt colleen and cousins katie, nattie and dianna threw me a baby shower on december 30. it was stunning. seriously. you know i'm not all foofy-foofy-core, but it was gorgeous.
ideal company. family and close friends. delicious vittles, including some insane cupcakes (so much better than a cake). the games we played were non-intrusive and dignified.
in a nutshell, the perfect baby shower. ms mees got some great stuff. tons of clothes (homegirl will never go naked), an insane diaper bag, activity jumpers, bottles, etc. it was mayhem.

here uncle carlos is so tender with the baby in the 'pass the baby' game. what's scary is that this *what i think is a* large doll is actually a preemie. can you imagine that when you birth them, they're much larger *shudder to think*that's my hand on the baby.
