let the pets parade

this weekend marked the annual redwood city pet parade. eager to expose maya to the wonderful world of eccentric pet ownership, we packed the car and headed a few cities south. although we ended up missing the parade itself, we were fortunate enough to see many dogs in outrageous getups. my personal fave was preston the puggle, adorned in custom doggy jeans and suspenders.

if you assumed that was the highlight of the weekend, well then, that's a good guess. however, not the case. uncle eddie and cousin steven came up from the OC to meet maya. also, gal pals LG and gretchie made the odyssey from the big city to the 'burbs. an amazing time was had by all.
