the entire family headed south for some awesome times, including maya's first disneyland trip with daddy and her baptism. here's a chronicle of our last 10 days.
hey april!

maya's first taste of cotton candy. she went bonkers for it.

maya's latest favorite sign

we were joined by immediate family for maya's baptism. she looked lovely, the event was lovely, it was just lovely all around.

maya's godparents - nino eddie and nina katie. aren't they so handsome?

maya's baptism outfit. we went for antique chic.

clowning around with the ninos

maya told me once that a good carrot cake was next to godliness. she also said, that she "was going to put the pink flower in her mouth and say it was delicious." she did, in fact, do just that.

maya and katie having some fun

we spent some days with the GGs and enjoyed the sunshine. maya even gave them some gardening tips.

it was a rare occasion that i was home for my birthday so we did it up. grandma and maya baked me a batch of amazing brownies. i even got a candle... that maya promptly blew out.

the family came over to help us celebrate. we measured maya since she was exactly 2.5 years old. according to folklore, she's exactly half her full height. she measured at a whopping 33.5", which means she'll be a little over 5'6"... and i will again be dwarfed by yet another family member.

of course we took time to visit our favorite local park

this was taken immediately after i said, "don't go up there." homegirl is fast and fearless!

i captured the two seconds she stood still

teeter totter mayhem

grandpa put maya to work washing his truck

and we of course had to squeeze in one final trip to disneyland!
